Une décision quelque peu partisane condamne l’Arcahaie FC et rend le titre au Violette Athletic Club

Une semaine après la bagarre générale qui a causé plusieurs morts au Parc Saint-Yves lors du match entre la formation archeloise et le Vieux Lion, presque toutes les instances du pays ont pris position dans ce dossier. Si la Commission d’Organisation du Championnat Haitien de Football Professionnel (COCHAFOP) en a mis du temps pour analyser les faits avant de statuer sur cette rencontre, c’est pour rendre publique son verdict ce samedi 16 janvier en attribuant le titre de champion de la « Série d’Ouverture » au Violette AC, ce qui risque de faire jaser les dirigeants du club de la Cité du drapeau (Arcahaie Football Club ndlr).

Cette décision arbitraire et partisane pourrait encore une fois faire du tort à l’image du championnat national. Suite à cette décision peu objective, le VAC doit-il être fier de son sacre alors que sur l’ensemble des deux rencontres, on n’a eu que très peu de jeu mais plutôt un affrontement belliqueux des deux côtés ? S’il est vrai que les citadins se sont imposés lors de la première manche 2-1, tout restait à faire à la seconde manche et les comportements anti-sportifs n’ont pu laisser cette finale prendre sa propre direction.

Une finale tournée en drame

Arcahaie et Violette devaient s’affronter à deux reprises en finale des playoffs avant de connaitre le vainqueur pour la série d’ouverture de la sasion 2020-2021. Le Vieux Tigre, à l’aller, s’était difficilement imposé 2-1 grâce à un doublé de Roberto Baggio Louima. Le camp archelois n’a eu que des reproches à l’encontre des locaux pour leur comportement antisportif lors de ce match comme le témoigne leur note parue juste après cette rencontre. En fait, ils ont été victimes de bastonnade au point qu’un de leur joueur ait laissé le Ranch de la Croix des Bouquets avec la tête cassée sans oublier d’autres cas d’irrégularités. Pour le match retour, les archelois disaient prendre toutes les mesures sécuritaires possibles et imaginables avant de voir leur plan échouer puisque les violettistes ont été escortés par un convoi de sécurité composé de plusieurs unités de la PNH, toutes venus de Port-au-Prince alors que le commissariat de l’Arcahaie avait pour mission d’assurer la sécurité dans l’enceinte du Parc Saint-Yves. Ce qui faisait encore objet de favoritisme d’après un dirigeant de l’AFC.

Les bleu et blanc ont cueilli à froid les locaux dès la première minute de jeu avec l’ouverture du score, mais les « Feux Rouges » n’ont pas tardé à donner la réplique. À la 20e minute, Eguynord a remis les pendules à l’heure. Après le but égalisateur des locaux, la rencontre allait se terminer sur des notes inattendues. Entre la querelle entre Samuel Mardoché Pompé et Alésy Olnick, le jet d’une chaise d’un des dirigeants du Violette AC vers un groupe de supporters archelois et la mort de deux personnes dont un dénommé Volvo, les spectateurs ne fêtaient pas le titre mais la chance d’avoir pu sorti sains et saufs de ce pétrin généralisé. Quelqu’un va-t-il prendre ses responsabilités face à ces ignobles actes ? Nous sommes tous conscients que la COCHAFOP devait statuer sur cette affaire, mais après avoir rendu son verdict, les coupables se sont-ils vraiment fait sanctionner ? Cette décision aura mis à nu la FHF ainsi que la COCHAFOP.

Une décision arbitraire

« Jugée trop souvent partiale, l’instance organisatrice des compétitions nationales (COCHAFOP ndlr) est loin d’être crédible dans ses prises de décisions », a déclaré un dirigeant d’un club évoluant dans le championnat national à Le Consultant sous le voile de l’anonymat. Réagissant à la publication de ce communiqué, le président de l’AFC, Jean Léonard Tout-Puissant « aka Izolan », via son compte Instagram, dénonce, par ces mots, une décision préférentielle et injuste : « Yo bat nou, yo kase tèt nou, yo touye moun pou nou, kounya COCHAFOP tranche kont nou, pou sa nou kraze Federasyon an, bann Magouyè sa p ap pase menm ». Pour ponctuer sa déclaration, l’homme d’affaires y ajoute plusieurs séquences de vidéos montrant les dérapages au Parc Saint-Yves.

À travers son communiqué, la COCHAFOP se réfère à des articles du code disciplinaire du championnat national pour consolider son statut avec possibilité d’appel par devant de la commission de recours de la FHF.

Selon la décision de la dite commission :

• Le Parc Saint-Yves de l’Arcahaie est suspendu pour cinq (5) matches et l’Arcahaie recevra ces matches hors de ses bases.

• Le Coach du Violette AC, Rony Attimy, est suspendu provisoirement jusqu’à ce qu’il dénonce le membre du staff ayant lancé la chaise en direction du public.

• L’Arcahaie FC perd le match par trois (3) buts à zéro.

• Le Violette AC gagne le match par trois (3) buts à zéro.

• Le dossier est transmis à la commission de disciplines pour les suites nécessaires.

Par conséquent, l’AFC compte bien faire appel de cette décision et défend ses droits bafoués puisque l’ampleur de la situation ne peut avoir pour conséquence une aussi mauvaise décision venue des hauts fonctionnaires à la tête du football haïtien. Même après par devant la fédération, la formation archeloise pourra avoir recours auprès du Tribunal Arbitral du Sport (TAS) dans l’objectif d’avoir une décision plus équitable.
